Recently we developed a special XSBS application for one of our customer who runs SAP-S/4 HANA since 2019.
Historically using the application Ortems (french software editor for production schedule), since years, to schedule the master production schedule of its french plant, our customer used to copy resulting plan manually back into
ECC-PP module to later drive its MRP calculation.
While migrating from ECC to S/4 HANA they decided this manual process was not anymore an option as many errors used to occur by so doing and it used to burn a huge time of the master planner from the plant.
We developed this new XSBS application that now allow our customer to simply upload in XSBS Excel the Ortems MPS from a csv file and then maps it directly in S/4 Hana replacing planned production orders with new ones. This has become a reliable options, that runs on demand, taking less than 2' to execute without any errors anmore. Last but not least, this application allows the master planner to select which production version will be used in S/4.
